Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ask your GP to refer you via NHS Right to Choose.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You would generally need to meet all of the following criteria<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Registered with a GP in England.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Your GP considers the referral clinically appropriate. The referring clinician determines whether an elective referral is appropriate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The referral is for a first outpatient appointment\/new episode of care for the condition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Your chosen provider offers the required autism\/adhd<\/strong> assessment service and holds a qualifying NHS Standard Contract with an ICB or NHS England for that service.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    • You are not currently detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You are not detained in prison or on temporary release from prison.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You are not currently serving as a member of the Armed Forces. Family members living in England are not excluded simply because a relative serves. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You are not already receiving care and treatment for the same condition where the proposed referral is an onward referral.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
